To enroll in one of the Distance Learning programs offered through the University Center, a student must technically transfer to another home campus. While the student physically remains on Maui, they will no longer be considered a student of UH Maui College but rather part of the Hilo, Manoa, or West Oahu campuses. The student can then apply for Financial Aid through their new home campus.
Most classes are open to those who meet prerequisites; a few classes are restricted to cohort members. Admission requirements for programs differ so it is best to make an appointment with support staff to discuss the details of any program you may be interested in entering.
