Most students who graduate with a business degree go to work after graduation in jobs such as entry-level managers, human resources specialists, assistant product managers, market researchers, public relations representatives, systems analysts, securities salespersons, and financial analysts.
Students receive the educational foundation for entry to a wide range of accounting and business careers, including a path to public accounting as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Ex: Financial Executives, Auditors, Controllers, Tax Specialists, or Bank Examiners
Students receive a broad educational experience relevant to many functional areas in the private or public sector, or self-employment and entrepreneurship. Ex: Project Management, Business Development, Human Resource Management.

Students learn to evaluate and develop advertising, public relations, and direct mail campaigns as well as examine the science of consumer behavior and business in the context of promotion and publicity. Ex: Public Relations, Sales, Advertising, Consulting, or Creative Design.
The certificate prepares individuals to enter the accounting profession, who don’t yet have the necessary academic background. This intensive seven-month program will enable participants to gain a solid accounting foundation and have the necessary accounting credits to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination in Hawaii.
