We offer the following support services:
Advisors offer important support services for students separated from their home campuses. Earning a degree can be a complicated process and advising services are instrumental in keeping students on track towards completion. Admissions criteria, degree program requirements, course selection, forms completion, and online learning can be challenging and ever changing so advising services can keep students from wasting time and money.
UH Center supports polycom (H.323) videoconferencing and provides Laulima course management system orientation. Our classrooms are equipped with technology to support online and hybrid classes.
We provide library support services through our Distance Learning Librarian Lillian Mangum. She consults with students and helps them conduct their library research necessary to write research papers and complete other assignments. A more detailed listing of Library Services is available on the UHMC website including information on an IntraSystem Loan service from other UH system libraries for books, journal articles and videos not available on Maui or online.
We provide proctoring services on the UH Maui College campus and in partnership with The Learning Center and the UH Maui College Education Centers.
